Ingénieur Brevet / Patent Counsel H/F
Vous serez en charge d'assurer le support aux activités quotidiennes relatives aux brevets du Groupe, en travaillant à la fois de manière autonome et en collaboration, dans le respect de la politique interne.
Vous fournirez des services et des conseils juridiques complets en matière de brevets, en traitant toutes les questions liées aux brevets, notamment les études de liberté d'exploitation, l'analyse du paysage brevetable et les études de brevetabilité.
Votre mission principale consistera à protéger les intérêts du Groupe tout en garantissant la conformité avec la réglementation mondiale applicable en matière de brevets.

Responsible for supporting the general day-to-day patent matters of the Group, providing both independent and collaborative work, in compliance with the corporate policy. Provide patent services and advice, dealing with all legal matters relating to patents, particularly freedom to operate, patent landscape, and patentability studies, in view of protecting the Group's interests and ensuring compliance with applicable patent laws worldwide.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Draft legal opinions relating to patent matters, including freedom-to-operate, patent landscapes validity/invalidity, non-infringement/infringement, and patentability; conduct to this end patent and/or non-patent literature searches to identify critical relevant information, which serves as the basis of those opinion(s).
• Prepare, review, file, and prosecute patent applications liaising with other outside patent counsels as necessary.
• Conduct competitive intelligence analyses to identify patent infringement risks and propose solutions.
• Support patent portfolio management, including tracking and prioritizing invention disclosures, managing filing strategies, and advising on strategic portfolio decisions
• Provide reliable and practical legal advice on patent copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property law matters with respect to risk management and compliance issues in all aspects of the business, including advising R&D on possible white space and development possibilities.
• Coordinate patent disputes, such as Third-Party Observations/Oppositions, and litigation matters liaising with outside counsel as necessary.
• Contribute to ensure compliance with all relevant patent legislations.
• Assist in the prosecution, enforcement, and licensing of the Group patent portfolio.
• Educate internally on patents, the patenting process, trade secrets, and protecting IP.
PROFIL
-Solides connaissances scientifiques et techniques en chimie organique, biochimie et/ou génie chimique.
-Expérience dans les responsabilités décrites ci-dessus.
-Qualification en droit des brevets d'un pays de l'Union européenne.
-Une expérience réussie en cabinet de propriété industrielle est un atout.

REQUIREMENTS
• Sound scientific and technical knowledge in organic chemistry, biochemistry, and/or chemical engineering.
• Experience in the responsibilities described above.
• Qualified in a national patent law in the EU.
• Prior successful law firm experience is a plus.
