You will join the corporate legal team, composed of five legal counsels based in France (Massy/close to Paris). This position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Legal.
Your main missions will include:
Supporting CAPFM’s international and French strategic corporate projects (partnerships, joint ventures, external growth, divestment, etc.);
Handling CAPFM’s contract-related projects (procurement, security and IT);
Assisting CAPFM’s financial activities (securitization, sale of receivables, deposit activities, etc);
Monitoring key legal risks and litigation within CAPFM;
Contributing to the work of the legal business line within CAPFM by collaborating with legal teams across our different entities on strategic projects and harmonizing practices (providing standard contractual clauses, promoting best practices, disseminating and monitoring applicable procedures within CAPFM Group and Crédit Agricole);
Centralizing legal risk and expenses reportings of CAPFM Group, both for Crédit Agricole SA’s Legal Affairs Department and CAPFM’s General Management.
This role is key in effectively supporting CAPFM’s business activities and entities, particularly in Italy, mainly in the automotive/mobility sector and consumer credit. Being fluent in Italian or having a degree in Italian law would be an asset in this position to facilitate exchanges and oversee activities in Italy, leveraging on an in-depth understanding of its legal and operational framework.

A significant experience in a similar role is required.
A strong knowledge of corporate transactions and contract law is essential.
Experience in the automotive/mobility sector (especially in the Italian market) would be a significant advantage.
Knowledge of competition law would also be beneficial. Prior international work experience is a plus.
You are able and enjoy working in diverse legal fields, are an excellent communicator/negotiator and have educational abilities which help you interact efficiently with local and international stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. You are very flexible / adaptable.
You have excellent capacity for analysis and synthesis, verbal and written communication.
M&A and Partnerships, contract law, litigation and pre-litigation management
IT Contracts/Service Agreements and/or Financial Transactions (securitization, sale of receivables) are a plus.
Pack office, Interest in IT tool development/innovation would be a plus
