Role Summary

This is a heavily commercial drafting focused role requiring strong commercial drafting background and experience working as a lawyer in the leisure and tourism field. Direct experience in a similar focus area is preferred. The ideal candidate should be a motivated, strategically minded commercial lawyer, able to balance commercial needs of a growing company with compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form excellent relationships with stakeholders and within the legal team are essential.

The role will support all business units, primarily focusing on:

  • Operations and maintenance
  • Procurement and IT
  • Sales, retail, and merchandising
  • HR and F&B
  • Finance
  • Executive team support
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management & Drafting
  • Draft and review general contracts and documents including:
    • Procurement contracts
    • Service agreements
    • NDAs
    • IP-related agreements
Corporate Governance
  • Advise on and interpret delegations of authority
  • Draft corporate documents
  • Prepare minutes and board resolutions
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Review and advise on due diligence matters
  • Handle compliance and corporate governance matters
  • Review policies and insurance documentation
  • Provide legal training and workshops to business units
Qualifications & Requirements
Required Education
  • LLB or equivalent legal qualification
  • Admitted as a lawyer/solicitor in UAE or another jurisdiction
Preferred Education
  • Post graduate diploma
  • LLM
Experience
Required:
  • Minimum 3 years PQE or equivalent
  • Previous in-house legal experience
Preferred:
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience working as a lawyer in UAE
  • Experience with government or semi-government companies

  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Excellent commercial drafting and negotiation skills
  • Broad knowledge of UAE laws, particularly commercial law
  • Knowledge of data protection laws
