Hybrid (Amsterdam, North Holland, The Netherlands)
Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands
A career opportunity for an experienced Dutch speaking IT lawyer who would like to join a leading global name in technology and an international legal team.
Hi there 👋 this is Mila Read from Found Legal where we specialise in in-house tech lawyer recruitment.
My client is a Global B-to-B Technology company whose in-house team is currently hiring for a Commercial Technology Lawyer.
What is attractive about working for this company?
The scale, complexity, and global footprint of its operations.
You will work on high-value, cross-border commercial contracts with Fortune 500 clients across industries — an opportunity to deepen expertise in structuring and negotiating complex technology agreements.
The legal team is seen as a strategic business partner, not just a support function. This creates an environment where commercial legal work is impactful, and closely tied to business outcomes. The legal function is mature, well-integrated with sales and delivery, and offers the chance to work on deals that shape key client relationships.
You will collaborate with experienced legal professionals and access best-in-class contract frameworks and tools to enable your continuous learning and professional growth.
Working here will position you strongly for future career progression. You will gain deep expertise in complex IT services contracting which are highly transferable and in demand across the Tech industry.
The global exposure and deal volume will sharpen your ability to manage risk in diverse regulatory and commercial environments, making you a stronger negotiator and strategic advisor.
You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders which is essential for moving into future leadership roles.
Being part of this high-performing team and working on complex matters will enhance your CV and profile for future roles in any other tech company.
Where is the role located and what is the mode of working?
The office for this position is located in Amsterdam.
However you can work mostly remotely, provided that you can be in the office when required for face-to-face meetings with the business (usually one day ever two weeks or so).
My client will prefer candidates based in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany.

Drafting, negotiating and providing advice on a broad spectrum of commercial agreements involving company’s customers, suppliers and partners, including services and supply agreements, SaaS, PaaS, Cloud and more
Advising your business colleagues across the organisation on various ad hoc legal questions
Support leadership on the management of high-risk issues
Provide pragmatic legal support at all stages of the contracting process, helping the business to succeed at the right level of risk for the company
