About the Role:

As Legal Counsel, you’ll work closely with our asset class teams, specifically our real estate investment team, to ensure the Fund’s investments are strategically structured, legally sound, and commercially robust. You’ll lead legal due diligence, negotiate key contracts, and provide expert legal advice across infrastructure, property, and debt investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal due diligence and risk mitigation for direct investments.
• Negotiate and draft complex contractual arrangements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on existing and prospective investments.
• Manage external legal advisors and ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Develop and implement legal controls, precedents, and checklists.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across asset classes and geographies.
• Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments impacting investment activities.

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales or another Commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Good experience working in private practice or in-house legal roles, ideally with exposure to infrastructure, property, or private equity transactions.
• Strong background in corporate, M&A, or real estate/property/real assets legal work.
• Excellent commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and multiple workstreams.
• High-level understanding of due diligence and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborative, collegiate, high-performance mindset.
