Your  role

As a Legal Counsel, you will act as a trusted legal business partner for alliance markets in the Rest of World region. You will provide highly qualified, business-oriented legal advice, ensuring compliance with regulations and safeguarding LEO Pharma’s license to operate. Your role will involve negotiating agreements, resolving disputes, and supporting the rollout of legal initiatives, all while building strong relationships across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a legal business partner and trusted advisor for alliance markets, providing strategic legal advice, interpreting compliance regulations, and identifying legal risks.
• Negotiate, draft, and review agreements, offering strategic and legal input during negotiations.
• Support the rollout of legal initiatives and the Third Party Compliance Management (TPCM) process, ensuring adherence to policies.
• Handle and resolve disputes by providing advice on potential resolutions with partners, vendors, and competitors.
• Build strong relationships across the organization to enhance understanding of legal requirements and ensure a risk-based approach to legal support.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with:

• A Bachelor of Law and a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Legal, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in legal drafting and broad legal knowledge.
• Excellence in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• A structured mindset with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage changing priorities.

Rest of World Legal & Compliance is a small and dedicated team based in Denmark, Brazil and Poland within the greater Global Legal & Compliance organisation, counting approximately 50 experts.
