About The Role:
Based out our Millbank Office, the Legal Counsel will report to, and work alongside, ARC’s General Counsel, assisting across a diverse and wide-ranging portfolio of work. You will be involved in preparing a wide variety of commercial and media contracts, assisting with matters of compliance, and contract management. This role will also include some administrative support to the General Counsel.
We are looking for a qualified junior lawyer, 1-3 years of PQE (although this is only a guide, and significant weight will be given to the factors below), working in a highly successful and recognised commercial, media and/or technology team either in private practice or in-house.
The Legal Counsel’s main focus will be the licensing of data and audio-visual content to bookmakers, so experience of media rights licensing will be a significant benefit. Whilst a relatively junior position, the Legal Counsel will be required to work with a good level of autonomy, albeit with the support of the General Counsel, and be able to advise the business on a wide range of matters. Experience of managing legal projects, and directly advising stakeholders on relevant matters will be important.
