*A select number of positions require full-time in office attendance* 

 As our Legal Counsel, you will be reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs. You will be responsible for supporting your internal clients and providing sound guidance to ensure that the organisation is following best practices. This position is focused on EU law but will also include work regarding jurisdictions in any part of the world.

What you will be doing:

  • Drafting various legal documents and provide support on projects and legal issues as and when required
  • Provide practical, business oriented legal advice and recommendations on any legal affairs
  • Draft, review and negotiate, commercial agreements for our various business and functional units and summarizing specific clauses of existing commercial agreements in light of issues that might arise from time to time, as well as suggesting amendments, if required
  • Researching and analyzing the law on complex issues and EU Regulations/Laws, and writing memos
  • Updating the terms of use on our various properties, as required or requested
  • Evaluating and responding to requests received under the GDPR, or other privacy laws, as well as monitor and provide guidance on applicable data protection laws and regulations
  • Performing various organizational and administrative tasks to help organize the department
  • Reporting to the Director of Legal Affairs

What you will need to be successful:

Must haves:

  • Law Degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience in general corporate and commercial law with significant contract exposure and preferably in the technology and online sector
  • Excellent Computer skills – Microsoft Office
  • Business Writing skills (letters, reports, contracts etc.)
  • Positive, open and collaborative personality
  • Hardworking individual who is a self-starter
  • Fluency in English language is a must (spoken and written). Greek will be considered an advantage
